Supporting: Equal Community Foundation

After going through the applications from various NGOs, we've finalized on supporting Equal Community Foundation (ECF), run by William Muir and Rujuta Teredesai-Heron.
ECF works for the equal treatment of women in the society. Here's a video presentation of what exactly ECF does and how. For every graduate adolosecnt from their program, 1000 INR is spent. And every graduate goes on to impact the lives of three women. This is how the funds raised are to be spent.

February 19th, 2011 CommentWe'll be announcing the finalized NGO by Monday. What we wanted to quicky dish out is a couple of event ideas we've been really keen on. Talks are on, and we thought we could do with furthers ideas and leads from you.
- Since 24th March will be a Quarter Final match for the Cricket WC, we're planning of doing a screening, so yes Twestival Pune shall be starting in the afternoon.
- We're looking at find a sponsor for different board games which you can play while the match is being screened.
- Between the innings and at the end of the match, a band to play good music.
- And a couple of beers on the house.
What do you guys think of this? Any other ideas? Any sponsorship leads?
